Terms and Conditions

Scope 

To be clear, the following terms and conditions apply for all purchases made on our website. Our website and services are directed exclusively to consumers. 

Purchases made on celbretti.com are made with Celbretti UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

The Picnic Setup

Our picnics include the following:

  • Low tables 
  • Jute rugs and velvet cushions
  • Table linens, plate ware, serve ware, cutlery, glasses
  • Rain pavilion (upon request) 
  • Bang & Olufsen wireless speaker
  • One bottle of water (.75L) per every four guests 
  • One bottle of the bubbles of your choice (crémant, sparkling rosé, alcohol-free sparkling white wine, or alcohol-free sparkling apple juice)
  • Cooler with ice and champagne bucket
  • A basket of sundries including Aesop hand sanitizer, paper towels, power pack, and charger cables.

Location and Times of Operation

Our picnics take place in Volkspark Friedrichshain in Berlin. You can request a specific location for the picnic within the park; otherwise, our team is happy to suggest a location for the picnic. 

Picnics take place Wednesday - Sunday, from 13:00-20:30 CEST.

Park Rules

Celbretti picnics comply with the rules of the Volkspark Friedrichshain park. We ask that our guests do the same while picnicking with us.  

Picnic Confirmation

After filling out the order form, you will receive a quote for the picnic and a list of the payment options. The picnic order is confirmed once payment has been received. For customers who choose to pay via bank transfer, we will reserve the date up to 24 hours while the payment is being processed. 

An email confirmation will be sent following the receipt of the payment. 

Payment Options

We accept payment via invoice and bank transfer. 

Making Changes to the Picnic

We want to make your picnic as perfect as possible and will do our best to accommodate changes if possible! 

  • Changes to the picnic spread (e.g switching from a vegetarian to mixed spread) or orders for cakes must be communicated 48 hours before the picnic. After this point, we will try to accommodate your wishes but cannot guarantee we'll be able to do so.
  • A change in the picnic start time should be communicated 48 hours in advance. This helps our team with planning. If you have a last minute change, please reach out to us directly at +49 1739126872. 

Rainy Day Policy

We provide the following options in case of rain:

  • A pavilion tent can be set up over the picnic at no extra charge. This option works best for cases where there is a chance of rain or when light rain is forecasted. 
  • You can opt to postpone the picnic to another date. If this is communicated at least 48 hours ahead of the picnic, no additional charges apply. If this is communicated after the 48 hour deadline, however, additional charges will apply for the picnic spread. 

Cancellation Policy

After the receipt of the payment, you can opt to cancel your picnic up to 48 hours before the picnic and receive a full refund. The cancellation must be communicated in writing via email, sent to hello@celbretti.de. 

After the 48 hour cut-off, a full refund is no longer possible. In this case, you can opt to postpone the picnic to another date. (Additional charges will apply for the picnic spread.)

Refund Policy

After the receipt of the payment, you can opt to cancel your picnic up to 48 hours before the picnic and receive a full refund. The refund will be made to the account which was used for payment unless otherwise specified. 

Lost or Damaged Items

The Celbretti picnic setup is to be returned in full after the picnic. Our team will help you do a quick check of all items at the close of the picnic to ensure this happens. Please note that as the booking party you are liable for any items which are lost or damaged during your picnic.
