Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply for all bookings on our website. Our website and services are directed exclusively to consumers. 

We define ‘consumers’ as individuals who complete a transaction for reasons which cannot be attributed to either their commercial or independent work.

The Picnic in the Park service

The Picnic in the Park setup includes the following: 

  • A long table which sits about 20 cm from the ground. Depending on the number of guests, the table is between 1.20-3.60m long
  • Rugs, pillows, and two throw blankets for the set
  • Table settings for 8-12 guests, including plates, forks, knives, cups, linen napkins
  • Table decoration, including foliage, flowers, table linens, and candles
  • A vegetarian spread, including antipasti, hummus, baguette, fresh fruit and vegetables, a tomato-burrata salad, and cookies. Gluten-free and vegan spreads are available on request.
  • A badminton set, assembled upon your arrival
  • Spreequell Natural water
  • A cooler with ice 

For an additional charge, the following can also be booked:

  • Drinks, including an assortment of juices, non-alcoholic bitters and tonics, wine, and beer
  • Additional decoration 
  • Children’s entertainment

The Table for Two service

The Table for Two service includes the following: 

  • One picnic table, 1.20 x 80cm, raised about 20cm from the ground
  • Rugs, pillows, and two throw blankets
  • Table settings for up to 4 guests (plates, napkins, silverware, glasses)
  • Table decoration, including foliage and candles, and table linens
  • Our vegetarian picnic spread, including an assortment of French cheeses, antipasti, hummus, baguette, fresh fruit and vegetables, a salad, and sweets. 
  • One bottle of Spreequell water (Natural or Classic) 
  • One hour of live music

For an additional charge, the following can also be booked:

  • Additional decoration for the table 
  • Cremant, non-alcoholic aperitivos, juice 

The Location for the Picnics

Picnic in the Park

The base location for the Picnic in the Park service is Volkspark Friedrichshain. The exact location will be shared with you in your order confirmation and a number will be provided in case you need onsite assistance. 

Picnics can be set up at the location of your choice for an additional fee of 200€. If you choose this option, you can define a pick up time up to 20:30 CET of that day. A next day pick up can also be arranged. In this case, customers are responsible for the picnic materials until they are returned. 

Table for Two 

The location for the Table for Two service is Volkspark Friedrichshain. The exact location will be shared with you in your order confirmation and a number will be provided in case you need onsite assistance. 

The Timeframe for the Picnic Service

Picnic in the Park

The picnic service starts at 12:00 and goes until 17:00 CET on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Table for Two 

The Table for Two service takes place from 18:00 to 20:30 CET on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. 

The Picnic Spreads 

Our picnic spreads for both the Picnic in the Park and the Table for Two services are vegetarian and do not contain fish or meat products. If specified, vegan and gluten free picnic spreads can be arranged. Unfortunately we cannot cater to peanut allergies. Our Rain Policy 

In cases where the picnic can’t take place due to rain or inclement weather, customers have the option to postpone the picnic to another date. If there is a chance of rain and the customer still wants to have your picnic, rain coverings will be provided. 

Our Cancelation Policy 

Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. After this point, cancellations are no longer possible. Up until three days before the picnic date, rescheduling the picnic is still possible pending available slots.After this point, neither a cancelling or postponing is possible.  

Payment Options 

After you receive your booking confirmation, you have 24 hours to confirm it by paying the invoice. Your booking is only confirmed with the payment of the service. For payment, you have the following options: 

Bank Transfer 

When you select this method of payment, we provide you with our bank details in a separate email and deliver the articles after payment has been made.   


If you opt for this method of payment, you will be provided with our PayPal details in addition to the invoiced amount. Once the payment is credited to our account, we will notify you and will ship the order. 

COVID Regulations 

We take the COVID pandemic seriously and follow regulations imposed by the Berlin Senate Chancellery to ensure that our guests can celebrate safely. The picnic setups are designed to allow for ample distance between guests. Furthermore, we disinfect the picnic table surfaces and provide hand sanitizer for guests. We rely on our guests to also follow the rules with regards to households to ensure that celebrations are safe. By booking a picnic through Celbretti, you take responsibility for ensuring that the regulations regarding the number of households and guests who can safely congregate are followed. 

In the case that Celbretti property is lost or destroyed 

The articles belonging to our picnic sets should be returned at the conclusion of the picnic. One of our team members will check everything over with you to make sure everything is complete. Still we know that sometimes accidents happen! In the case where picnic materials are lost or destroyed, we will send an invoice for the amount. We kindly request that the amount be paid in full within 14 days. 

Settlement of Disputes

The European Commission provides a platform for the resolution of online disputes which you can find here. We are neither obligated nor ready to participate in a claims settlement before a consumer arbitration court.

Youth Protection

In those cases where your order includes articles which are subject to an age restriction, we check that the appropriate age has been reached by requesting proof of legal ID from the ordering party. Such goods are released to the ordering party only after such an age check has taken place.
